In this project, we identify, analyse, and denounce the extent to which modern Spanish colonialism modified and damaged the dynamics of socialisation and children rearing in Tåno’ Låguas yan Gåni between 1521 and 1898 CE.Despite Spanish colonial, CHamoru communities found ways to collectively resist and re-exist under colonialism, preserving their ancestral values, beliefs, and practices.
